Home page selection inconsistent

Hello guys! Does anyone have an issue with a beta9 after updating like me?
"In Basics settings, the Home Page is set for Tags"
Every main Tag has a subTag, same as here on a forum Extensions and under Languages.
So when I click from a Home Page a subTag it will forward me to All Discussions.
How can I fix this, any idea?
(probably I should check the updates for a Tags extension and NGINX config cuz wasn't changed after upgrade from beta8)

Freenixi hello. Can you maybe share some screenshots ? I don't get what is going wrong.

From the tags page, clicking on any tag should open the discussion list filtered by that tag. Is something different happening to you ?

I have the same issue since updating to beta 9.
My frontpage is set to "Tags", when clicking on a tag, all discussions are listed instead of the discussions belonging to that tag.
I don't have any subtags nor any extensions.
After some time and after some clicking, the Tags respond in a normal way again.

clarkwinkelmann Sorry for a long reply, yes happening something different, it doesn't look like list been filtered and shows All Discussions instead. It is like Lukeman said.

Okay I'm able to reproduce on https://beta.flarum.site/

It appears the first time the discussion list loads, it shows the pre-loaded homepage content, disregarding any tag filter.

The same thing probably happens when clicking the link to "following" or "private messages" from the tags-as-homepage page. But those extensions aren't installed on the test site.

The discussion list data should probably not be pre-loaded when the homepage is set to tags. I wonder if it's an issue introduced with the last beta or not.

I just checked on nightly and this was in fact fixed 9 days ago via a related issue flarum/core1819

The fix will be released with beta 10.

To apply it locally properly you'd need to clone core into a workbench folder, make your changes, install that copy instead of the one from Packagist, then don't forget to switch back to Packagist when beta 10 comes out. If you edit files in vendor folder they might be overwritten next time you install or update any extension.

If you're not familiar with composer workbench directories, I'd recommend waiting for beta 10 and not set the tags page as the homepage in the meantime.
