Any news about Wordpress support?

Hi guys. I'm following Flarum from the very beginnings, and I remember Toby talking about Wordpress plugin since 2015. As we all know, recently there were changes in leadership and vision of the project, so I'm curious how are we NOW standing on this question?

Personally, all my desires go to shared SSO login and shared comments between WP post and Flarum discussion (thread).

Also, a question for coding more savvy of you. Would it be possible to achieve something like this with a third party extension? Maybe someone sees an opportunity here, I think that there are a lot of people like me who would pay for this kind of extension/plugin.

hrvoje_hr I don't think we have any plan to introduce something like that before stable. For now the target of the core team is reaching stable. Toby probably didn't expect this before stable either (?)

It's definitely possible to implement as an extension. In fact if this is ever implemented in Flarum this would be a first-party extension anyway.

There already is a third-party Wordpress SSO extension, but I don't know if it's compatible with beta 9.

To my knowledge the SSO extension by @wuethrich is compatible with beta9. As mentioned in that thread, I've modified it a good deal to offer some better integration and manageability with my WP site. I'd love to build it out a bit more at some point. All my tweaks were on the WordPress plugin side of that integration.
