New discussion - choose tag window disappears in Firefox

While writing my last post I noticed, that I cannot choose tag. When I click "Choose tag" button, the window appears for a second, and disappears. Does anybody else has this issue? I have Firefox 69.0 with uBlock (of course blocked for this page, and my forum). It works like that also on my beta9 forum, so maybe there is some problem with my browser, but what? I also turned off blocking of tracking elements in Firefox for Flarum.

Staszek As a temporary patch, figure out the class name for that box. Mess around with increasing the CSS z-index.

Maybe not a solution here, but I’ve had similar issues with different parts of Flarum (mainly things that extensions add though) and tweaking the z-index for those elements fixed it.

I don't notice this with Firefox 69.0 on Ubuntu here.

If it happens both on beta and nightly, I'd say it's probably something on your side because we never had any report of that issue on beta 9.

Can you maybe check for javascript errors in the browser console if you're able to ? (while reproducing the issue)

I just checked that it doesn't happen on Nightly demo. And I forgot to write that there are no errors in browser console. What else can happen on my side?

Staszek it's hard to tell if there's no error at all.

Do you have something like a touchscreen maybe ? Or is it a classic computer with just normal mouse ? (something could be triggering a quick succession of clicks somewhere)

I can't really think of any other things. Maybe someone else will have more suggestions.

clarkwinkelmann I have ordinary laptop with mouse. I forgot to mention, that while tag choosing window disappears, blue overlay stays there until I hit esc button. And as I said, nothing happens on the console when I do it.
I also just disabled all my extensions in Firefox, and restarted browser - issue still persists.

Staszek One user reported me the same on Firefox 70.

There's an open issue for this. But the exact cause hasn't been identified yet, which makes it hard to solve.

luceos Sounds like the same issue that happens in IE11, still no solution for that either since there are no errors reported in console.

010101 The issue is that the class that changes the style so the modal stays zoomed in is removed for some reason... We use a boostrap plugin for it so the root cause is unknown
