Tags or Categories

Hello, I really love Flarum and the clean look and design. Can someone please tell me how can I create Tags or Categories with Sub Categories. Also please suggest which one to use Tags or Categories.

AtmadeepDas welcome! Sub-tags like you see on this forum can be created by dragging a tag under another one in the Tags page of the admin panel (with the mouse).

Or are you looking for a different extension than the included Tags ?

Sounds strange since this works for me perfectly fine. Are you sure you used drag and drop to organise your categories?

OddDev Yes, I am trying to do it, but it seems that the tags are not coming under the main tag. I can drag perfectly.

Sometimes it's a bit tricky. You have to move it under the tag, and slightly to the right for the "shadow" to show you the option to nest under another tag.

If you can't get this to work, can you let us know which browser you're using ?

Thanks, after a lot of trial and error I managed to add sub categories. But I guess the Sub Tags only works under Primary tags? because I tried t add sub tags under secondary tags, but it didn't work.

Correct.

That's correct. Sub-tags (nested secondary tags) can only occur under a primary tag. If you want a tag to have tags nested under it, it will need to be a primary tag.

The un-nested secondary tags are intended to be applied in general, the nested secondary tags are intended to be applied only on that primary tag.

And the last question is there any way where the forum users can see other users profile, someone suggested me an extension "online users" but I didn't find that extension under the extension section of flarum.
