I am getting this Error when I try to install the Extension:

Your requirements could not be resolved to an installable set of packages. Problem 1 - Installation request for fof/nightmode ^0.3.0 -> satisfiable by fof/nightmode[0.3.0]. - fof/nightmode 0.3.0 requires flarum/core ^0.1.0-beta.8 -> satisfiable by flarum/core[0.1.x-dev, v0.1.0-beta.10, v0.1.0-beta.8, v0.1.0-beta.8.1, v0.1.0-beta.8.2, v0.1.0-beta.9] but these conflict with your requirements or minimum-stability. Installation failed, deleting ./composer.json.

Tiixxel make sure you run the composer command inside the Flarum folder (the folder that contains composer.json)

Hi, it works with the latest Flarum release?
At the moment there is no support for automatic night mode when is night? (Active also for not registered users?) Will be nice 🙂

peopleinside it does indeed. I'm using it on beta 11. In terms of automatic night mode, you'd have to get a client side function to determine the time and then based off that, decide which theme to deliver to the user. Without being logged in, this extension won't function either. It natively serves day mode, but I've reversed this.

There's a small issue. When night mode is turned on, the codes are not very visible. The theme for syntax highlighting needs to be changed. Is it possible for us to change it for our own forum? (I'm guessing the forum uses highlightjs)

Also, the font colour is black in the best answer block, but this is probably an issue for FoF/BestAnswer

Would it be possible to match night mode according to the user's OS theme? Similar to what duckduckgo.com did.

This black text only appears inside the FoF/BestAnswer block, everywhere else it's fine.

therealsujitk yes, it's because there is no CSS for this extension.

Night Mode is now enabled for guests based on their device preference (FriendsOfFlarum/nightmode27) (no more being blinded late at night!).

Dropdown colors are wrong. If you visit Flarum with tablet, you can see tags are looks like a button with current codes. It should be like this.

@Ralkage @tankerkiller125 is there any chance we can have a setting for either dark or light (or day / night) where we can force a theme for those who are not logged in ? Currently, I set this to night mode by default and every time I update the extension, I have to manually change it ☹️

[deleted] I don't see why not, we would have to add a settings Module in the admin area and add a setting, but that shouldn't be to difficult. I can probably pull it off in a night or two.
