after set up cronjob there will be a lot of same processes. So memory The ram usage rate has increased too much and the server has been shut down.
my cronjob run php flarum queue:work every minute. when I didn't use cronjob process will be end after a while.
What should I do use queue correctly?

fatihaysel queue:work has to be daemonised, so you need to keep that process running. The recommendation is to use supervisord or something similar, see: https://laravel.com/docs/8.x/queues#queue-workers-and-deployment

Thank you luceos I ran with demonized but I got READONLY You can't write against a read only replica error. I enable to replica-read-only no still got same error and

Problem 1
- blomstra/flarum-redis[0.2.3, ..., 0.2.4-beta] require flarum/core 0.1.0-beta.15 -> found flarum/core[v0.1.0-beta.15] but the package is fixed to v0.1.0-beta.16 (lock file version) by a partial update and that version does not match. Make sure you list it as an argumentfor the update command.
- Root composer.json requires blomstra/flarum-redis ⁰.2.3 -> satisfiable by blomstra/flarum-redis[0.2.3, 0.2.4-beta].

luceos I found the cause of the problem. It is a conflict with fof/terms. When I disable fof/terms, there is no error.

But the error comes back when I try to enable RedisQueue:

When I clear the cache, I see that it doesn't work though.

This happens even when I disable the Redis extension. When I comment out new Blomstra\Redis\Extend\EnableRedisCache([...]), then the problem disappears.

As to the issue, I will need to look into this. The extension needs to be patched for Flarum v1 anyhow so that makes for a great opportunity to get that done 😉

and can i enable redis only for flarum ? (installed in sub folder)

Hari Flarum is based on components in use by Laravel. Laravel itself is the full collection of those components (called Illuminate). Flarum uses some of them but can be extended to use even more of those components (like queues, cache etc).

i am assuming redis cache extension is something like W3 total cache am i right ?
