A little suggestion related to SEO and this extension: will be better not add full contents of selected best answer to first post because it causes duplicated contents. From my point of view, will be better add a little excerpt with a link that scrolls directly to the selected best answer. Hope my explanation is clear enougth 😅

Protonic I think that's far outside the scope of this extension. But it's a great extension idea!

Maybe this extension helps with the "comments on x" part https://discuss.flarum.org/d/24695-evergreen-comment-trees-for-flarum

There are also various like/upvote extensions already. There might be something to build from that.

Unless I missed it somehow, there doesn't appear to be any way to stop non post owners from selecting the best answer ? Not sure if this is intended or not. @katos spotted this on my site.

[deleted] admin users can always set any best answer, for all other user groups, set the permission Select Best Answer (not own Discussion) to your preference

IanM thanks. I just thought it a little strange that the post creator isn't the one with that right (or an admin) by default. Certainly not a show stopper anyhow.

[deleted] there’s also a separate permission for setting own best answer too, on a per tag basis. This way, it’s possible to allow best answers only in specific tags
