ozkan34 Google analytics does not count pageviews. Real-time analysis Continuous shows the home page. how to solve this problem. Does anyone have this problem?
luceos ozkan34 did you use an extension? Flarum is a SPA, adding the tracking code to the head isn't enough as the code is only executed once.
ozkan34 luceos analytics plugin is not working. Even though I tried, it shows everyone on the homepage in real time analysis.
ozkan34 MikeJones Does Analytics show you crawled pages when you review them in real time? My site only stays on the homepage.
FBI Just put and paste the Analytic code to the Custom Footer (via Admin Flarum Panel). No need installing extension.. Analytic will active within hours. Or, try Real Time report. Page Views with Page Value will count in the next day
matteocontrini FBI that won't work, Google Analytics doesn't track page changes automatically in single page applications. You need specific Flarum code to log page changes when they happen. FoF Analytics does that.
[deleted] matteocontrini piwik does, however. And it doesn’t need the extension - just the code in the header or footer
ozkan34 Thanks to everyone for the answers. It improved for me when I deleted and reinstalled the Analytics plug-in.
Velany You don't need to use the Google Analytics plug-in, and I don't recommend it. Instead, paste the provided codes into the box at the bottom of the page.
clarkwinkelmann The Analytics extension does provide benefits over just inserting the tracking code. First, it's supposed to provide page tracking in the single page app for both Google and Matomo/Piwik. I don't know why it's not working here for you though. You can see the code that does it here https://github.com/FriendsOfFlarum/analytics/blob/master/js/src/forum/index.js Additionally for Piwik, the Analytics extension allows you to automatically populate the setUserId tracking code to track individual forum users (it's an option in the admin panel) https://github.com/FriendsOfFlarum/analytics/blob/master/src/Listeners/AddTrackingJs.php#L89
Zeokat I tryed in the past the Google Analitycs extension and also put my forum into troubles, so decided to add the Google Analitycs manually. The code works good, for me is showing pageviews also.
