Injection from flat files

I want to test injection in Flarum from flat files in UTF8 with all the informations about the creator of the post or answer.

Is there any "howto" to do this?
I don't want to learn phpBB injection or another, I just want someone who teach me how to inject "discussions" and answers...

The following is what I think you want:

have flat files in your website storage containing information about specific users
use this information to be shown inside posts in Flarum

First I would like to import users.
After I would like to integrate topics and answers into Flarum threads : Topics become discussions and answers become... answers ;-)

A simple shell script in bash or PHP, C source (!) as well, the languages I know well, from flat files or CSV for example.

Sure you have some tools for your migration at Bokt.nl 😃 But if it is the property of Bokt, I just ask for the SQL queries to inject users and messages...

Bokt runs on phpbb, what I did is set up Eloquent models to query the phpbb database and match/map them for importing into Flarum. These are not flat files. One could however read all flat files as Fluent objects and then do the same thing, it would require a lot of fiddling however, as you'd need to match your existing data against the Flarum database schema.

I don't think there's anything out there yet.

What is? My employer specifically wants to run both Flarum and phpBB in sync so that the 300k+ user community can gradually get acquainted with this new platform. Using Eloquent models and a queue so far has been working out pretty well, the sync from phpBB to Flarum is already working. We're closing in on a full sync already.

Pherinos Yes, it's the hardest thing to do.

I know that @clarkwinkelmann has loads of experience with migrations. He might be able to assist if you need it.
