Hello,
I am currently trying to install Flarum on Shared Hosting.
By default, I want the installed Composer to be in the directory:
/home/client.hosting.com/user/
my path to the public website file looks like this:
/home/client.hosting.com/user/domian.com/public_html
I open SSH, login and perform the following commands:
user@ssh: ~ $ php72 -r "copy ('https://getcomposer.org/installer', 'composer-setup.php');"
user@ssh: ~ $ php72 -r "if (hash_file ('sha384', 'composer-setup.php') === 'a5c698ffe4b8e849a443b120cd5ba38043260d5c4023dbf93e1558871f1f07f58274fc6d4' tocc8 ('composer-setup.php');} echo PHP_EOL; "
Installer verified
user@ssh: ~ $ php72 composer-setup.php --filename=composer
All settings correct for using Composer
Downloading ...
Composer (version 1.9.1) successfully installed to: /home/client.hosting.com/user/composer
Use it: php composer
user@ssh: ~ $ php72 -r "unlink ('composer-setup.php');"
Okey all its good,
then I go to the folder where I want to install the flare because I would like it to be in the directory:
/home/client.hosting.com/user/domian.com/public_html/forum/
in SSH I type the following command to go to a specific directory:
cd domian.com
user@ssh:/domian.com$
cd public_html
user@ssh:/domian.com/public_html$
cd forum
user@ssh:/domian.com/public_html/forum$
and execute the flarum install command:
php72 composer create-project flarum/flarum . --stability=beta
I get the message:
Could not open input file: composer
why this problem Why does Composer not work even though it is installed? What do I need to do to get the installation process started as I want?
