Sticky's location

Ideally, stickied topics should be at the top of the discussion lists, appearing first, second and so on, even if the default list is sorted as 'Latest'. Just like the way it shows on Flarum forum.

I have two stickied topics, but they appear below the more recent threads.

notakoder once read, Flarum stickies behave like other discussions. If they contain new messages, they will stick at the top until you read them.

We've got many variations of this question on the forum already, but I'm not sure how easy they are to find...

clarkwinkelmann I see. I think a way of sticking some topic to the top permanently would be very useful addition to the forum. It's handy when it comes to some announcements, guidelines, rules to read first, etc.

EDIT: also noteworthy, stickies are always sticky when you visit a specific tag. As Toby explained very well a long time ago in the first discussion I linked, it's only on the homepage we make them go down so that you get a more usable list of all discussions.

both suggested extensions do not work.
and sticky aren't sticky. or the makers of flarum do not understand the word "sticky" and should add another option.

this is the only forum software handling "stickies" not like real pinned to top threads. weird!
