samtto there's no "checkbox" solution. It will require extension knowledge.
The tags extension will have to be forked or extended. As far as I'm aware it has been discussed before, but I've never heard of anyone actually making the changes. You might find solutions involving editing files in vendor, but that won't be a permanent solution.
