[deleted] thought it is indeed a finished extension, there is currently no device preference detection, guests won’t be able to use the extension’s features, and most of all, there are still some minor styling issues that need to be addressed for mobile users using the Dark Mode setting 😉

[deleted] there hasn't been an unanimous decision about adding the extension to discuss yet. My personal opinion is that adding more and more extensions will make it harder to deploy the nightly version of the next beta, a required step in our release cycle.

Wow I didn't know that extension existed I'm installing it right now for my forum, that's definitely a must for Flarum Discuss! I can't wait to be able to use dark mode here to lurk at night without my eyes burning out 😛

EDIT: Had to remove it because my forum uses dark mode by default and it doesn't detect that so it's pretty useless, I wish I could give users the option to go to light mode though but dark mode just looks better by default in my opinion.

nixpc You could simply leave it light by default and let everyone choose whatever suits them. Easy!

Mark73 Yes but the forum just looks better in a dark theme in my opinion and I don't want to require the user to sign in to not get their eyes burnt out 😛
