Issue with labels on a newly installed Flarum forum

Hi,

I created a forum on Free Flarum (version 0.1.0-beta.11.1). I installed a few extensions and changed the language to French.

Now, I have issues with labels on some buttons or menu items. The text is not displayed. I only see the reference code. For example, here's a "Share" button label as I see it:

I wrote to Free Flarum to ask if the issue was with this service or with Flarum, and the answer was that the issue was with Flarum and I should create a post about it on the official Flarum forum.

timoun inside your admin area dashboard click the flush cache button. This rebuilds your language files, if that doesn't help then the installed language package misses some translations.

luceos Emptying the cache didn't work but switching to English did. Thanks a lot. So, it seems that the French language package misses some translations.

However, shouldn't English strings be displayed as a fallback in such case? Because it means that even if 90% of a language is translated, it's not really usable if missing strings render badly. Another example:

They should, but there's a known bug preventing this from working at the moment flarum/core1774

In the case of French, there's one language pack translating Flarum core, and another language pack translating many third-party extensions. You might want to try that second pack.

You can use the Linguist extension to translate the texts that are still missing.
