How to install flarum in the root folder?

When I installed flarum, it got installed under www.example.com/public. Is it possible to change this to www.example.com? Or reinstall it to www.example.com?

I tried redirecting all www.example.com to www.example.com/public and it worked perfectly. But the problem is whenever I share the link www.example.com, it gives a text preview saying "501 Permanently Moved". It works... But I don't want it to show that message on sharing the site. It would be great if I could install flarum on www.example.com.

You need to set your root directory to /path/to/Flarum/public instead of what is probably your current root of /path/to/Flarum
