How do I keep my own font-family settings after upgrading?

I found easily that the font-family settings were in the file forum-zh-hans-4ba54fce.css at public/assets. And I also believe that it will work if I change it now.

But how to keep my own font-family settings even if I upgraded Flarum? Or can you tell me if the settings will be actually replaced?

If you make changes to any core files, then these will be overwritten at the next update or upgrade. If you want to define custom fonts, you should use Admin->Appearance->Edit Custom CSS
