therealsujitk Every forum has a noreply@example.com email that sends out confirmation emails and other updates to users. Is it possible it update the details of this email? Say add a profile picture and stuff?
tankerkiller125 therealsujitk This is highly dependent on the email host as well as the email client. SMTP (E-Mail protocol) does not have any standards in regards to profile pictures. Customization such as the displayed name can be customized however. There are currently working drafts that will introduce a profile picture standard into e-mails but those standards are supported by very few clients at this time.
Littlegolden I don't think this can be done with extensions. At present, you can install a mail client service on your server, and set the mailbox to "noreply@yourForum.domain", then set this email address as the sending email of the forum dashboard to achieve your desired purpose.
therealsujitk Whenever someone gets an email from my domain, Gmail says "Gmail couldn't verify the example.com actually sent this message (and not a spammer)." How do I fix this?
luceos therealsujitk set up SPF and DKIM records. There are online testing tools to confirm/validate how spam safe your mail server is. Waiting too long with this might cause your IP to end up on blacklists.
Littlegolden therealsujitk Or use a free business email? Enterprise mailboxes can be bound to your own domain names, and e-mails sent by service providers that provide enterprise mailboxes will hardly be identified by other service providers as spam or uncertain.
therealsujitk luceos Done! Thanks!! Got 9/10 and the problem in Gmail doesn't occur anymore. I still haven't added my DKIM record (hence the 9/10), but I managed to get my sites logo on the emails avatar by registering that email at Google (Clicking use my existing email) and uploading my sites logo. Works beautifully!
