I just installed XAMPP server 5.6.20-0 on my 32-bit Ubuntu System, unfortunately it comes with php5, I have php7 on my system but I can't get apache2 to use the php version my system has. Is there any way to make apache use the php version installed on the system?
I tried changing the local Host directory outside opt/lampp but that didn't work, it still uses php5.
