I have been using flarum from beta 5 to date, and I successfully create a forum for our company website, with almost 2 years the forum does not receive any search hit from google despite the effort to add an SEO extension from @JasperVriends, the early days of @JasperVriends extension it used to work very well with all rich result display on search. But today the extension is not working at all, and I just come to realize its best to use flarum as it is more than to use the extension, I think for now.
I have been here for a very long time and i see the discussion from mods and admin saying that now they are not focused on SEO and more they focus on build the core function of flarum with a target to make flarum come out from beta. I totally agree with that but a little bit out of the box SEO its best for this software as it already been used wildly with a lot of people.
It's not a good feeling to come from another platform to flarum and all of a sudden the traffic change from bad to very worst, I think flarum have a good chance out there because there is no any forum software like this and it's going to take a long time to create something like this again. all other platforms they take to many resources, very hard to use and expensive to operate from a beginner perspective.
I will always love flarum and I know soon it going to reach yet another milestone and come out from the beta program and used with other big companies out there, my suggestion is that at the very list we can try to implement schema.org on the front and all the discussion pages, other implementation can be done using extensions.
I have a lot to say about this but i think you guys get an idea of what am saying (am sorry for my English is not good but I hope someone will listen and try to do a little bit SEO)
