I can't change the appearance of my forum!

I am started to use Flarum Forum today. While I was making the settings, the design of the forum changed. I couldn't able to change it from the appearance section. I am changing the colours however it doesn't work. Please help me!

rehitu Can you post the code you're using to change the colors here? It's probably interfering with the Light Shadow extension you're using.

Littlegolden I am only using Flarum from it's website. So there is no extension for it. My main domain is on Blogger.com so I don't know if I can use all of Flarum's features or not. 🙁 Please help me!

rehitu Is this a "fresh" install of Flarum via composer? Further make sure that you have nothing inside the customization area in the Appearance section of the administrator dashboard.

Edit: Looking at the sites JS, you do have an extension enabled that modifies the theme. Disable the "Theme Light Shadow" extension.

jordanjay29 I deactivated that extension and problem was solved. Thanks. I want to ask one more question. I am using Blogger.com as my hosting for my main domain (rehitu.com). Do I need any hosting to use Xampp, Composer and the others?

rehitu are you currently hosting Flarum on your own server or using FreeFlarum ? If you want to install Flarum on your own server, it will have to meet the requirements https://flarum.org/docs/install.html#server-requirements . Both a VPS or shared hosting can be used as long as command-line access is possible and that Composer can be used.

EDIT: I should have checked myself first. A simple DNS query was enough to check for it. I see you are using FreeFlarum

rehitu Sorry you can't. FreeFlarum doesn't allow user to install extensions . You can only turn existing extensions on or off.
