Allow only user + specific group to view a discussion

Hey guys, is there an extension that supports the following scenario?

When a regular user opens a discussion in TAG1, only he + a defined group of people that can view discussions in TAG1 can see & reply to the discussion he posted.

danielunited you can find it in admin > permission, and create new group and permission for specific tag

maruco Yes, but it allows only that group to view discussions. I want to allow both a specific group AND a regular member who opened a discussion in that tag.

I think the closest thing currently available is Byōbu by FriendsOfFlarum other than that from my knowledge nothing exist. It could certainly be made as an extension though.

tankerkiller125 Yes, Byōbu is indeed the closest thing to tag. It does a good job, just requires a few modifications to automatically make post in a certain tag private & visible only to the post creator and a user group associated with that tag.

I'd be happy to pitch in and support the development of such an extension. Anyone wants to join?
