clarkwinkelmann SatyamSingh did composer previously worked fine on the same server ? It could be just a temporary error while connecting to their service.
clarkwinkelmann SatyamSingh what kind of server/hosting are you using ? Did they provide Composer to you or did you install Composer yourself ?
clarkwinkelmann SatyamSingh is it a VPS ? Can you try reaching other external urls from the server ? Maybe outbound requests are blocked by some firewall rules ?

BlackSheep I can't even access his hoster from my home, as stated by @gozen it seems to be a network issue. Please contact your hoster about it. Also, can you test if composer is working as intended as requested by @clarkwinkelmann previously ?
