pupsik Why do I need windows 10, when 7 works way better?
Because Windows 7 is obsolete and no longer receives security updates ? Isn't that enough ?
I agree that nothing lasts forever, but the death knell for http sounded some years ago and it really only exists for legacy purposes and to communicate with (for example) Let's Encrypt. The view however that HTTPS will not last doesn't really hold much weight. If anything, it's going to be enhanced in the same way that the first incarnations of SSL and TLS were.
Running a site without HTTPS these days is like modifying the engine of a car with a more powerful one and neglecting the braking system which of course would then be completely inadequate as a result.
If you want to completely disregard HTTPS, then ok, but you should also expect the inevitable issues and risk that accompany such a decision.
