Shortcut title is website URL instead website name

I noticed that on my Google Chrome homepage, my website's shortcut title is my website's url, instead of a normal title. See the bottom right corner:

Of course I can go in and edit the title myself, but how do you make it so that it automatically makes the title my actual website name instead of the website url?

<title> must be missing.
I believe you didn't NAME your forum.
Naming your forum will automatically fill the<title> tag from the html structure.

Mup Are you referring to Administration Page > Basics tab > Forum Title field? If so, I already entered a name there. It shows up in tabs and Google search, but not in shortcuts.

I also replicated the issue using a different browser (Microsoft Edge). I added the link https://www.yahoo.com/ to "top sites," and it automatically gives the correct website title. But when I enter in my website, I run into the same issue.

mtdev Looks like you have the SEO Extension added, make sure your Meta tags are set properly through that extension.

jordanjay29 It seems like my meta tags are already set. The SEO settings page says "Your forum has meta tags available (generated by this plugin)," and next to that it says "all set!"
