Email to Admin for verfication before posting

Is there any package for sending email automitically to admin or moderator when the user post the discussion. Only after the verification the admin has to approve the post then only others can see the discussion. Can any one help me for this issue?

DevanNarayanan have you tried a combination of the bundled Approval extension and the FoF Follow Tags or FoF Subscribed extension ?

I'm not sure whether Follow/Subscribed will send a notification email for unapproved discussion to people who can see them.

That part should be possible with the Approval extension. Did you try that ?
