Email activations no longer working 🙁 for some reason it says core.email.activate_account.body in the email. Driver is 'mail'

This seems more like a translation issue: if you clear your cache, is the rest of your site working properly?

Yes, rest of site is working fine. Nothing is being translated 🙁

Flarum's use of english is actually a result of the English language pack. If you disable it in extension settings, you'll see that the entire site has text like that. For some reason, translation didn't work on that activation email. Can you send the output of your php flarum info command here so we have more info, try running php flarum cache:clear, and try again?

zsik3115 are you really sure the English extension is enabled ? Its internal ID is flarum-lang-english, so it's not enabled in the payload you copied. Does it show as enabled in the admin panel ?

That's really odd, especially since you're only using bundled extensions. I haven't seen the translator selectively work for you. Have you tried clearing cache?

zsik3115 you're using an extremely old version of Flarum with a Php version it doesn't officially support (iirc). Try to get yourself updated to beta 13.

Thanks both. That should solve the email issue? I tried upgrading with another guide but I may just try do beta 7 - 8 - 9 - 10 - 11 - 12 - incrementally. Thoughts?

zsik3115 are you on VPS or shared hosting? I think @jordanjay29 already sent you a guide on updating but from your site it looks like you don't have any data (that I can see). If this is true, just completely reinstall Flarum.

Kyrne I have content but when I import the DB it breaks everything. Do i only need to import a couple of things? Shared hosting, thanks

zsik3115 you've already moved the stuff to the public folder right? You don't really need to import the database. Just copy the old config.php into the root of Flarum and it should pop up on the website to update Flarum.

Kyrne AHA! That worked, I just reinstalled completely and imported the CONFIG from old folder and now boom:

However, something is so weird. All the ENGLISH words are gone -- the English words were fine in another folder, but in the /vi/ folder the English breaks. It was the same DB, in the old folder English words were ok. Another weird thing, when I click on extensiions in admin panel it doesnt open. FIXED! I AM SO SILLY. I FORGOT TO PUT THE TRAILING ] AT THE END OF THE EXTENSIONS IN THE TABLE AND THAT'S WHAT CAUSED IT TO BREAK. OK SO ENGLISH WAS STILL GONE. WHAT I DID WAS I HAD TO GET RID OF THE TAGS EXTENSION IN THE DB, THEN I COULD GO INTO THE ADMIN PANEL, THEN I HAD TO ENABLE THEN DISABLE THE ENGLISH ADDON! WOW OMG THANKS SO MUCH TEAM
