Mail set correctly but SignUP not working

I have setup the Email settings as shown above after hours of hit and trial with port numbers

in these settings, flarum is able to send emails for Password reset but new users are not able to signup

I enabled the debug mode but the Signup loading icons loads infinitely

r4nchy can you find the error message that is shown when trying to signup ?

If even in debug mode you don't see any error page and nothing gets written to the log files, maybe it's a javascript error. In this case you could open the browser javascript console and try again, see if any error message is written to the console.

Those SMTP credentials look very odd. Are you running your own SMTP server ?

r4nchy I'd strongly recommend you to use the SSL/TLS option with Flarum. Change your port from 26 to 465 and use tls in the Encryption field.

I'm afraid Flarum can't help here. The delay is likely due to the SMTP server itself. You could switch to a different SMTP provider (for example, Mailgun), which might offer better service.

The error was shown in the chrome browser inspect console section, and the error was due to misconfigured reCaptcha

But the verification mail takes too long to reach the destination, users will lose interest if it takes so long just to enter.
