Upgraded to fof uploads from older abandoned upload plugin

I noticed the older version of the upload plugin was no longer supports to I upgraded...

I checked all the settings and they seamlessly transferred but when I uploaded my images and made a post they are not showing...

I did notice that old images address looked like this: https://s3.amazonaws.com/seekadventure.net.storage/2020-05-03/1588464682-121394-mcj02055.jpeg

But in my new post where they are not showing, the address looks like this: https://seekadventure.net.storage.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/2020-05-18/1589827197-187768-img-20200517-133023-mp.jpeg

Did they not upload right?

Hi MikeJones , I had the same issue with AWS S3. This is because of the dots in your bucket name. Aparently AWS uses wildcards SSL certificates which goes 1 level deep (subdomains).

As you have multiple dots in your bucket name, it looks like multiple subdomains for the browser and the SSL certificate isn't valid anymore. You should only the s3.amazonaws.com/bucketnamewithdots as the s3 subdomain has an valid SSL certificafe.

You can change the pretix URL in the FoF Uploads settings. I have set those too to the s3 variant and it works without no problems 😃

Do I have to create a whole new bucket and not use the period?

MikeJones you can keep your current bucket, but you should change the URL prefix in the FoF Upload settings to.

https://s3.amazonaws.com/seekadventure.net.storage

The field is called Content Delivery URL (prefixes files)

JasperVriends I dont see a prefix setting in the upload settings... Am I missing something?

Also assuming this will work on all future posts and not correct the one I just posted a few minutes ago? I will have to fix that one manually right?

MikeJones it should be there, look for the field Content Delivery URL (prefixes files). (Unless that field has been removed and I don't know about it 😂)
