Hi there,
Here is the scenario which leads me to ask this strange question :
Let's say I have two registration type :
- an ldap registration for some of my organization members
- the classic flarum core registration for flarum-only users
Now, let's say Michel, a flarum-only user 🧏, has become an organization member. So I create an ldap account for Michel, so that he could connect to all our online services.
Of course, it would be great that regarding flarum, Michel doesn't see the difference : he just needs to login with the ldap flarumlogin_provider, which is just an other button next to the classic login.
But I'm pretty sure that if he does, Michel won't find his original account's data. Or worse ? Would it make mysql crazy ?
So here is my question : what would happen in such a case ? And what would be the best practice to "merge" the two Michel accounts ?
Have a great sunday 🌻
