Automate posting in categorie from a rss-feed

Dear community,

i search a solution to get postings automated in a categorie on my flarum board.
Have any of you experience with that or can suggest a way to do that?

The input comes from a rss file.

pardus71 My site at https://hub.phenomlab.com does this. Most of what you see in the news tag is auto generated from various RSS feeds. Have a look at https://hub.phenomlab.com/t/news and let me know if this is what you are after. pardus71 no problems. I've yet to post the RSS code there, so it won't be visible just yet. Essentially, you'll be using the Flarum API to do the posting with a custom script I wrote that queries RSS feeds then makes posts out of them.

pardus71 the intention is to make this public. I've been promising this for a while but haven't had time to dedicate to this with everything that's going on presently. Hoping to change that soon.

The script makes use of established composer extensions, so no reinventing the wheel.

I will look at the mean time at the api maybe i get some work around.

Can you give some advice what are the best way to insert and connect the api. That is the point i dont find a good solution without a doc for the api. Maybe i must learn more about rest api and the whole thing with apis, 😆

You'll need to generate a code in the database for use with the API and (I think) you also need the flarum API extension installed from here
