So, i changed it to curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL, 'api/discussions'); since I am running the script from root which clears the csrf_token_mismatch 400 error

But, could my alteration have been the reason why flarum api is'nt taking in the request.?

You need the full URL for the API to work - can you set that and try again ? For example https://www.myforum.com/api/discussions

Okay, Changed it. But, now i am stuck with this error;

Operator Are you running Beta13 ? That bug was resolved in this release.

I have everything working with the feed DB, but nothing is posted to flarum.

When I run php rssparser.php For each, out of the 10 items I get;
This does not exist...processing Checking https://articleURL/ This does not exist...processing

When I run php rssparser.php again For each, out of the 10 items I get;
Checking https://articleURL/ This has already been processed...skipping

When I check the feed DB, the id | url | title | seen content are there correctly.

But, nothing is posted to flarum.

Instructions I followed

` I changed 23 to the primary tag, (and even checked to make sure my tag settings is; Required Number of Primary Tags =1, Required Number of Secondary Tags =0)

curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POST, 22); - I changed 22 to the user ID and gave the user admin rights.

Please what am I missing @phenomlab . Thanks in advance...

So I want to automate with an auto-updated Spreadsheet (.csv) which will contain processed data (author, image url, content etc)

r4nchy Hi - I'm not entirely clear on what you are looking to do. It looks like you're looking for a way to import the data from WP into Flarum, but I want to be sure.

[deleted] oops my language, I want to automate my flarum, but instead of using a rss parser I will have a csv spreadsheet containing all the data for new posts, and a script will just read all the data and use api to create posts.
This is what I want to achieve

r4nchy that's certainly possible, but it would be custom development which the RSS script in its current form will not support.

You really need a similar script, but one that can parse each line of the CSV file and create a post from it. In addition, attribution to specific users isn't going to be easy unless the script assumes ownership of all content. When using the API, you specify a user who completes the transaction, meaning each user attribution would have to be dynamically set on each run. Doing this programmatically is possible, but a lot of work.

I'm happy to do it if it's what you need, but it will be chargeable. Contact me on Discord - phenomlab#4801 to discuss rather than clog this thread.

Is it because I haven't configured Maicol07's API properly? I tried both:

diegoc Odd. Which version of Flarum are you running ? Can you provide the output of php flarum info ?

diegoc I have had this exact same issue myself in the past.
There are a couple of things that I would like to confirm with regards to this one please.

To begin with, can you please confirm the user account that you are using to access the API token, and to post the thread?
