CSS editor for installed extensions and themes.

It would be nice if we could access every css from admin panel so we can edit it. This would be really great so we do not need to override every rule with !important in current CSS section. Even more because some of them already use !important and we can't even override them...

Maybe something similar that Wordpress has?

There is an option in admin panel called " Custom CSS " ( something similar ). It will override every other CSS rule, core or extension.

meetdilip Yeah as long as extension does not use !important and there is no chance to override it. Like TAGS or NightMode so if there was CSS editor for each extension I could just change simple things like colors and such just from here.

Fof/Darkmode uses !important, and it's quite annoying when you cannot override a class with your own. I've landed up having to modify the source which is less than ideal for obvious reasons.

In that case, we should ask for guidelines to avoid !important in plugins and themes. No approval if there is !important.

meetdilip Agree but can we really expect that? I linked two extensions and one of them is by flarum team itself. And they approved the change and still did not push it.

I know it is not there. But since this is under discussion, let us hope such a system will happen. What else can we do.
