nginx location error?

upon transferring my forum over to my actual VPS i get the error stated below. im sure its a simple fix hopefully 😁

error : nginx: [emerg] "location" directive is not allowed here in /www/flarum/.nginx.conf:2 nginx: configuration file /www/server/nginx/conf/nginx.conf test failed

itzkv check that you have added your include /path/to/flarum/.nginx.conf; inside of the server block of your nginx configuration.
