Issue on editing post

Hi,
I want report from Firefox 77.0.1 when i press the three dots menu than try to edit a comment the comment is showed as deleted. For be able to edit i need refresh the page than press edit again.

I will try to attach a gif here in next few minutes.

luceos I'm reporting an issue on your forum. Hope you are not using a beta 14 that will introduce this issue.

The beta link you provided ask to login and never allow to register so how can I test there?

I'm not sure to be able to reproduce on another website; if the beta forum let me test I will maybe try, anyway the issue is present on https://discuss.flarum.org as showed in the GIF and seems happen with this specific comment showed.

peopleinside the demo sites have an immutable user admin with password password. Someone must have closed the forum signup as a test..

peopleinside I'm reporting an issue on your forum. Hope you are not using a beta 14 that will introduce this issue.

I am not stating the above because this is a nightly version (which it isn't), but because we are already using too many community extensions here that might impact the core product. In order to exclude those community extensions from causing the issue you report, I prefer confirming reproducibility on the beta demo site.

I'm glad you are taking the time to report these issues in so much detail. So if this is too much, I'm sure someone on the team (QA) might be able to validate the issue.

Seems I'm not able to reproduce in the Beta Demo.

Maybe some plugin you use is the cause. I'm also unable to reproduce in other community post here, just the one showed.
I think if this can be not diagnosed will remain as is now... so seems an issue somewhere in a plugin maybe but not really sure.

I suggest to create a pinned post in the demo with the credentials to login or some banner that cannot be deleted 🙂

The Beta is 13 i never experienced this issue on my Beta 13. I don't know with version you use on https://discuss.flarum.org but the issue with the edit post was experience more than one time in the post showed, here.

That error must be caused by a javascript error happening when the post editor opens. You should see an error message in the javascript console of your web browser. Can you copy that error message?

Most likely that error is caused by an extension we are running here.
