User sign up emails going to spam folder

Hi,

User emails are going to the spam folder I'm using the smpt settings with a email accout via my hosting control panel.

What kind of recipient address was this tested with? Does it happen for all users or just those using a specific service like Gmail?

On some email systems you are able to review which criteria made it marked as spam, that would be helpful in troubleshooting here. Very few people seem to have experienced this issue with Flarum so far so maybe the the spam score could be due to your server/provider IP or your sender address.

JAC just tested with Gmail and this too goes to spam.

More than likely you need to configure your DMARC, SPF etc.
Can you confirm who you are using to send your emails, as well as the email address and I can assist in running a check for your mail configuration for you to assist on this one.
