Add extensions

Hello Flarum community,

I'm a french new member, I would first of all like to thank all people who develop flarum.

I saw flarum on github and i tried it, I think this project is awesome !

I have questions about Flarum, I installed the latest version locally on my pc and it works great.
(I have to specifiy i can only install it with mariadb and doesnt work with mysql, dunno why, maybe i have to switch on something ?)
Moreover I tried freeflarum.com and opened a forum.

1.Freeflarum is using the latest version of flarum ?
2.Who is hosting Freeflarum ? What can they do with my data ?
3.Freeflarum is using bazar for extensions ?

3.I love extensions and I read a post about bazar becoming Unsupported, and this is my main question.
If I want to add extensions should I read all extensions post and install it with composer ?
Is there a post that groups together all extensions with command lines or is it https://extiverse.com ?

FreeFlarum is a project managed by a community member (Sanguine) and the Flarum Foundation has no control over it. They have a FAQ on their website https://www.freeflarum.com/docs/faq/ and you can ask question in the dedicated thread where Sanguine is active https://discuss.flarum.org/d/7585-free-flarum-hosting-on-an-expert-platform-by-freeflarum-com

Bazaar was an extension that offered a graphical interface for Composer but is now abandoned and no longer works.

You can find extensions by browsing the Extensions tag here on Discuss or as you already found Extiverse is another community-managed service that offers a list of free extensions as well as some premium paid extensions.

To install an extension you should visit the extension thread here on Discuss. The extension author will list the Composer command required to install the extension as well as any other relevant information. The moderation team will also mark outdated extensions with a red tag so you know which ones no longer work.
