Signatures on avatar hover

I just thought on this. You hover a user avatar in a discussion and then it appear the signature in the post. What do you think? Maybe it could be a good idea. ?

I got a better idea!
Let'sa say that in every post (on the top-right) you have two buttons. If you click the first one the current post shows the user's signature - maybe with a simple animation -. If you click the second button every signature of evey user in the discussion is shown. What do you think?

Flarum already has the ability to show your profile details when you hover your mouse over users name (with plain dark gray background).

How about give the user ability to upload image on that section (Profile settings)?

There will be a little bit of redesign on how avatar, username, status, online & joined will show so that it won't interfere with the image.

But of course, there is no plan to include signature in the core. And there will never be.
Extension can do this if you are looking for an option.

Digital Flarum already has the ability to show your profile details when you hover your mouse over users name (with plain dark gray background).

It's actually a different color for different users. I'm not sure whether it's based on username, avatar, or a hash of all of that, but you can hover over mine and see that it's not dark gray.

Also, I was wondering when @meetdilip and @Digital would meet in a topic. ?

Yes yes correct.

I think profile is enough for those personal things like avatar, images, etc.
Flarum is created to be simple and clean (without those signature junks all over the boards).

Core will never have this feature.

Like i said if they want this, look for an extension or make one ?

Why bother with signatures? I don't see how sigs provide any value-add to a forum. Let members go wild with their user profiles, but keep the forum clean and signature free.

ron_jeremy I think Toby & Franz want to expand the API for the profile area (see what Davis does with his Social Profile extension) and then let extensions go wild. Then extensions could add sigs or special fields or whatnot to the profile area revealed on hover (or just the profile page). Flarum core is unlikely to integrate too many extraneous features.

ron_jeremy Well it could be useful for other webmasters who have a user base who loves sigs, even in forums.

As jordanjay29 says, the idea is to drop all bio completely. And give extension devs more freedom to customize user profiles and such. I wouldn't be surprised if the whole bio is dropped before the stable release.
