Private forum + tag notifications

Hi, I would like to use Flarum but I want a gatekeeper before you can enter the forum - so you cannot just read all without registration. Is this possible? It's important I grant access before you can enter.

When is the notification based on tags ready? This is for me a very big advantages when this is ready;

IvanDeGoeyse Hi! Have you considered setting the "view discussions" permission to members only? Alternatively, you might want to look into the fof/doorman extension.

Notifications for tags aren't currently planned as a core feature (even tags themselves aren't a core feature), but this functionality is provided by fof/follow-tags.
