sachaw So far, I have successfully integrated Flarum into my site, but all that remains is to automatically log in the user into the forum and the parent site, tried this with the API but to no avail, any ideas would be appreciated.
Franz sachaw Hey, awesome! Can you give us some more details on what exactly you want to achieve? Do you want to create a Flarum cookie when logging in on the main site? Do you want Flarum's login form to use your user database? Do you want both login forms (Flarum's and your site's) to log you in in both places?
sachaw Franz sorry for the brief description, I wish to use my existing login form, so I assume your suggested method would be best (creating cookie), so could you please inform me how to do so.
Franz sachaw Sorry for not getting back any earlier. To get started, writing the cookie in Flarum is done by the Rememberer class - so once you have created an access token, you can create a cookie from it using that class.
jordanjay29 Patience, some people live in different timezones and are asleep for the 6 hours between your posts today. Also, this community slows down on the weekends, and it's Friday today (unless it's already Saturday for some). Someone will definitely see this and jump in, it may just take a few days. Here's a few resources to tide you over and maybe give you a jump start. This is a discussion about wordpress integration and the Integrations tag has some discussions about others doing the same thing you are. You can also join Gitter chat in flarum/developers to bounce some ideas around in real time.
