clarkwinkelmann Techinfinitz Flarum doesn't handle redirects to the canonical URL, and only the canonical URL will work. You can use Apache/nginx rewrite rules or the Canonical Url extension https://discuss.flarum.org/d/19307-canonical-url-redirect
