How Can I Change Colors of Codes

When I switch to dark mode, the codes I added to the article are not read. How can i change the code colors.

I'm assuming you're showing us [code] blocks in a post content with Flarum's dark mode enabled in the screenshot?

gray texts are not readable. I want it to be a whiter color.

Flarum's TextFormatter uses highlight.js for code highlighting, and I don't think it's able to know whether light or dark mode is used. hljs's CSS is directly loaded onto the page and isn't controlled by Flarum.

You could customize the colors using custom CSS and the .hljs- classes. There might also be a way to load a completely different stylesheet for hljs by reconfiguring the TextFormatter. Maybe this could help? therealsujitk/flarum-ext-hljs. It's a highlight.js extension to change the theme of the syntax highlighting on your forum.

Hey! I can see you had the same issue 3 years ago. I can see that Flarum still does not have a proper syntax highlighting, and also that refresh-to-view-the-highlighting bug is still present. I have opened a bug report about it.

Have you solved your highlighting issues? My forum really needs it, and I am waiting for that bug fix and a better highlighting to start/open my community forum.
