What can I do for this DDOS attack. My friend tried ip spoofing and my forum crashed. My website crashed, first I got mysql pdo error as too many queries were made. Is ther any tactics for IP spoofing. What can I dor onwebserver side?

IP spoofing is.. kind of illegal.
What you're trying to say is that you can't access your website/forum anymore?

LankyBox01 Now I can access. My friend just tried for testing. And forum crashed in one minute 🙂 How can I solve this problem. May be another one who I dont know can try yhid method. Currently my forum does not has big coommunity and traffic but its securtiy was weak according to the test. (IP spoofing)

If you want to hide the server IP from the Domain lookups/whois lookups you can just use a Proxy. Services like Cloudflare offer this for free. If I understand you correctly.

P.S. Cloudflare also protects you against DDOS attacks.

IP spoofing can only work for a DDoS attack if the return path is valid. For example, if I'm using that same ip address, and traffic is sent to that IP, I'm going to be the one that receives it. Spoofing via UDP is a possibility, but it's really not possible with TCP.

A true DDoS attack on your IP will be from multiple sources and not just one.
