Anonfiles.com File Upload Extension

I was thinking if it would be possible to integrate Flarum with Anonfiles.com API.

This would be helpful to store files externally instead of storing them locally (would solve the lack of file upload features on FreeFlarum for example). I haven't found any extension that does this yet.

It would work like the Imgur Upload Extension - you could upload a file and a link to the file gets pasted into the composer. Maybe there could even be a box with file info and a download button in the post instead of just a plain link. I think that that'd be neat.

Other services such as File.io have their APIs too, which would be an option in the extension itself - therefore, the extension would be called "Flarum External File Upload".

SKevo for ff I considered adding the ability to block local uploads in fof upload. That would pretty much open up any upload adapter needed. I started on a concept but hadn't finished it yet.

luceos FoF Upload allows external file uploads? I didn't know that, we can look into it. But IMHO, a separate extension just for this purpose would be better, and shouldn't be too hard to make.

luceos I have tested the new extender on FF test forum now. Works perfectly, thank you so much for thinking about our case!

One question though, is there any way how can I add a custom upload option (such as Anonfiles, or pretty much any free upload option)? Imgur, Quiniu and AWS S3 are the only upload options that I see. Are those hard coded into the extension? If not, could you please share an example extender for other services? Anonfiles API is pretty basic, and since AWS is paid and Quiniu is Chinese, ability to use basically any free service would be perfect.
