If you have a hosted solution where you don't have direct access to the db then you need to ask the admins to do it for you, which has its own implications. Maybe it would be useful to add to the documentation a sample SQL query to perform the suggested action.

This morning I have huge number of spammers on my forum. This extension is extremely useful if they pass FoF Antispam extension somehow.

Silvestrus it sure is, there are many communities using this extension 🙂

Just a heads up, fof/anti-spam in it's current form only tries to prevent spam users from registering, but many do get missed. The new version for Flarum 2.x also has content filtering, which is already proving to be very effective here on discuss.

Something to look forward to when 2.0 is released 😉

IanM it's great to hear that. Looking forward for v2. Currently, I'm trying to minimize number of extensions used on my forum so I could be ready for v2 when stable version gets released. Thanks for the effort. I really appreciate.

For other forum owners that would like to use this extension, it is necessary to update database in order for existing users not to wait for approval. I did it in phpMyAdmin.

UPDATE users 
SET first_post_approval_count = 10, 
    first_discussion_approval_count = 10;

I hope also this extension will be compatible with Flarum 2.0
