Logo display issues

It seems like my logo might not be a good fit for the Flarum header.

I can't find a good way to make it bigger, and if I do (I'm sure someone could tell me), I still don't think it will be big enough.

Maybe my logo just has too much detail to be displayed effectively in the header.

Any thoughts on a good way to proceed? Modify the logo?

cmwetherell those lines underneath the octopus could easily flow beyond the head component. I'm not a pro with css, but toying with position: absolute should help push the logo over the edge.
