Ability to make threads fall - Feature Suggestion

I use to use a forums for a Minecraft Server that allowed for categories to automatically set threads to fall. This means they won't be bumped when someone comments on them. This could be useful for Spam & Drama categories so the "All Discussions" tab isn't flooded with a bunch of nonsense. We are currently dealing with this issue on a forum using Flarum software.

XenV perhaps for those threads, you mignt want to select "hide from all discussions" on those tags so that they're only visible when someone goes to the dedicated tag?

askvortsov Well I don't want to completely hide them from discussions because if we do that, then the threads will get very little to no interaction. This feature would allow them to pop up in all discussions, but wouldn't send the thread to the top when someone comments on it.

Flarum sets the state of unread through a table discussion_user. You could create a listener to listen to Post Posted and update all entries for all users to the last post id. Alternatively one can update the api response for a discussion to modify the last post read state of the actor to be always the last. I think that last option would be easiest..
