Email Test Button successful, but emails don't arrive for signups

Hi,

I have only just discovered Flarum, and I must say I love what I see so far! I am trying to set up a new forum for an existing website and have installed it on Google Cloud.

It all installed very easily, and I configured Postfix on Google Cloud to use Mailgun. I then just set the email settings on Flarum to "Mail" and ran a test, and the test email comes through straight away as a success.

However, for some reason, if I do a test signup for a new user, it says it has sent an email, but that email never arrives. Is there a step that I am missing here? One other slightly curious thing is that if I try to use the "SMTP" method or the "Mailgun" method in the email settings, I always get an error, even when using valid credentials (I have sengrid and mailgun accounts).

Could one of you Flarum experts point me in the general direction of where I might be going wrong? The site is here if you are interested, but of course it is more or less empty at the moment http://ecobob.builder-talk.com.

DId you set up the SPF records for your postfix server?

Hi Luceos, I have since worked it out. When I set up Mailgun initially, I used a sandbox account.
I have now verified the domain in Mailgun, modified the postfix settings to use the correct username/password for the verified domain, and it now all works!
Looking forward to starting to use the software in full now!
