[deleted] only Office 2007-2013'extensions are correctly uploaded... others like ppt, doc, xls print oout an error message

peppogiappe Hmm. Given anything pre-2007 is really classed as legacy, does that present such an issue ?

[deleted] Only curiosity. But for example with application\/.* (I know that not is a safe practice) all application's files are uploaded, also pre-2007, for this reason maybe there is a correct regex to use?

peppogiappe Yes, I think this really depends on what the file type is being recognised as. I suspect you could use application/vnd.ms-excel for example which should work.

Also strange, as this works with a standard PHP form for upload
