Sign Up button in Sign up popup does nothing

hello people... looking for some help and am not sure where to start. the sign up button in the sign up popup does nothing. nothing relevant in the /storage/logs
my flarum forum is a new install - beta 14 with a bunch of tags and menus created with links extension

please suggest where I can start digging to fix this. I have tried disabling and uninstalling login / sign up related extensions like oauth, google login, fof/terms - nothing got it back so far.

kris88 does the modal open?

Make sure you're accessing Flarum via the exact same URL defined in config.php

If that's still not helping, check the browser javascript console for a possible javascript error.

clarkwinkelmann the modal / popup does open. can fill in the fields and click on Sign Up and nothing happens. Closed Sign Up option for Global in permissions and have Opened it again.
Tried with the browser console but it didn't really show anything. maybe I'm not looking at the right thing.
I'm sorry to ask such and to post link (can't find a PM option) but would you be able to look once at <removed link>

ZaKeks spot on. disabled it and it goes forward. Thank you 🙂
only to get stuck with the standard "Oops! Something went wrong. Please reload the page and try again." message in a red band in the same modal after I click the Sign Up button...

fof/socialprofile was blocking it!!!
Huh, it was such an effort to dig this out.
