I am a new Flarum user.
Please guide me in setting up Pusher notifications.
While creating the app what should I select in "Choose your tech stack (optional)"?

iqbal It doesn't really matter, but you could use "Laravel".

To set up pusher, you'll need to go into the "App Keys" section of the relevant channels project, and copy over the values to Flarum's admin dashboard.

askvortsov Thank you for your relpy. But Laravel is not available on that dropdown while creating a channel on Pusher. Any other option I select gives an error on the console.

I removed the pusher extension for 3 reasons.

Pusher became my best friend within days of installing it with 2 emails per day warning me to upgrade as it may not update as i was reaching my 100 concurrent limit. The upgrade was 49 usd per month...forget it. I have a forum with 277 people on it.
Pusher has a bug. With the side window open when typing or deleting with the delete key, if a post gets updated, it moves you to the beginning of the editor line, and suddenly you're typing in the wrong place, or deleting the wrong thing
Pusher disables the refresh icon, so if the threat of it not working does materialise, the users no longer have that option. It would be good if Pusher left the refresh icon where it was...no reason to remove it.

I could, except I run it on freeflarum and don't have access to their server to install it. Is there another way I can link to some public server that I missed?

Also I was trying mt1, front-end and back-end to none, but with the same results.
New discussions and posts updates wihout problems (I immediately see yellow bar in discussions list), but in notifications area, "bell" icon dont indicates any events(mentions, quotes, likes), untill I reload page. After reloading I see usual number of new notifications.
In the pusher debug console:

As I understand, connections is fine, but event: notification, data: null not fine?

I am miss something or its a bug?
Can someone show me what data I need to send from pusher console, for testing purposes, to initiate right notification process in flarum? Thanks.
